Tomato chilli jam

This is the first time I am sharing a recipe in my blog as I always hated cooking. But I couldn't resist taking picture of this jam. The recipe is originally from the Indian master chef Sanjeev Kapoor. So here it comes...

Ingredients:
Tomatoes- 1/2 kg
Fresh chillies (either red or green)-5 or6
Sugar- 1 cup
Chopped garlic- 2 tbsp
Chopped ginger- 1 tbsp
Vinegar- 3 tbsp
Soya sauce- 1 tbsp

Method:
Heat a pan, add tomatoes, garlic and ginger. Cook for 5 minutes. Then, add chillies, sugar, vinegar and soya sauce. Let it cook in low flame till the sugar forms a syrup and thickens. Remember not to thicken it too much as it hardens once it cools down. Store it in a bottle and use it as and when you want. The sweet, sour and spicy taste will linger in your mouth for a very long time.

Quilled frame

This is the first time I tried my hands on quilling (that too without the use of any formal quilling kit in place of which I have made use of skewers and regular comb)and I love the end result:)

I made different animal shapes for Anvitha's picture which had lots of greenery.

Finally, the animals were assembled to complete the frame.

Frame it

I have been working on making photo frames for my empty bedroom wall. A sample of which is here...

For the base a corrugated paper can be used but here I have re- used a birthday cake cardboard base as it was handy. Then cut out a circle according to my photo size.

Cut out few butterflies from coloured papers.

Cut out few flowers.

Assembled the flowers along with a shirt- button.

Assembled everything on the frame along with the photo. Cheese:)))
