My Little Princess' Birthday!

Planning and creating some handmade stuff for little Princess' birthday was real fun!

Though only  three close friends were part of it, I wanted to make it simple and unique.

The colors used for the decoration were pink, grey and white; keeping in mind the love for the color and her passion for Barbie...

So here are some pictures...

It's never too late to wish your loved one a very "Happy Valentine's Day" when the loved one is always with you!

Here is a small love note...

All you need is some handmade paper punched on the sides, a paper doily, some heart shapes and string/ thread.

Assemble everything...
And, this is the outcome:)

Finally...

Finally this is how my wall with family pictures and handmade frames look like...

Together...

Framing our togetherness through words...
Made this frame by using old maps (as the base for the frame) then cut out a few words and stuck on the frame.

Buttons on the frame...

Frame made of buttons for my daughter's portrait...
Since I was unable to find large size buttons, I bought a few curtain buttons (made of wood) and painted on them. And it looked something like this...

I had them stuck on the frame...

And finally, stick the picture.

Three- in- one frame

The idea for this photo frame was given by S and it looked great.

For this, I made three frames with slightly different measurements and covered with different papers.

Then, assembled all the frames on top of the other starting from biggest to smallest.

Cut out a few flower shapes...

Assembled them together.

Stick it on the frame. And it's done!

Quilled frame

This is the first time I tried my hands on quilling (that too without the use of any formal quilling kit in place of which I have made use of skewers and regular comb)and I love the end result:)

I made different animal shapes for Anvitha's picture which had lots of greenery.

Finally, the animals were assembled to complete the frame.

Frame it

I have been working on making photo frames for my empty bedroom wall. A sample of which is here...

For the base a corrugated paper can be used but here I have re- used a birthday cake cardboard base as it was handy. Then cut out a circle according to my photo size.

Cut out few butterflies from coloured papers.

Cut out few flowers.

Assembled the flowers along with a shirt- button.

Assembled everything on the frame along with the photo. Cheese:)))
