My Little Princess' Birthday!
Planning and creating some handmade stuff for little Princess' birthday was real fun!
Though only three close friends were part of it, I wanted to make it simple and unique.
The colors used for the decoration were pink, grey and white; keeping in mind the love for the color and her passion for Barbie...
So here are some pictures...
Invite with a paper doily and Barbie silhouette...
Handmade bunts and handwritten letters for the Birthday Banner...
The banner....
The cake...
Handmade return gift bags with a barbie silhouette and personalized names....

Raw Banana Tikki
This is one of my (or rather my family's) favourite starter. The recipe, again, is by Sanjeev Kapoor.
Ingredients:
Raw Bananas- 2
Grated Carrots-2
Chopped Onion-2
Chopped Ginger-2 spns
Chopped Coriander- 1spn
Roasted Groundnut powder- 1cup
Chat Masala-1/2 spn
Chopped Green chillies- 1spn
Red chilli powder- 1spn
Turmeric powder-1/4 spn
Salt to taste
Oil (for shallow frying)
Method:
Peel and boil the bananas. Once cooled, grate it so that there are no lumps.
Heat oil in a pan. Add green chillies, haldi and chopped ginger. Add onions and saute. To this, add grated carrots and fry until they become soft. Add red chilli powder, chat masala, salt and coriander leaves. Mix well and switch off the flame. Let it cool. To this mixture add grated banana. Make it into tikkis and coat it with groundnut powder. Shallow fry on a non-stick pan until golden brown. Serve with tomato sauce.

It's never too late to wish your loved one a very "Happy Valentine's Day" when the loved one is always with you!
Here is a small love note...
All you need is some handmade paper punched on the sides, a paper doily, some heart shapes and string/ thread.
Assemble everything...
And, this is the outcome:)

Together...
Framing our togetherness through words...
Made this frame by using old maps (as the base for the frame) then cut out a few words and stuck on the frame.
